London College of Music | | | Additional Skills | As well as an actor, Michael is a classically-trained pianist. As an actor/musician he played the role of Cosme McMoon opposite Maureen Lipman in Alan Strachan's West End production of "Glorious!".
His performances have gained critical acclaim: "Barrie Ingham leads a line-up of supporting players, easily the best of whom was Michael Blore" (Matt Wolf, The New York Times); "...brilliant." Michael has musically-directed many shows including "Me and My Girl" (Rugby Theatre), "Fiddler on the Roof" (University Hall, Nottingham), "Bugsy Malone", "Of thee I sing" (Maine, USA),"Showbiz" (Southwark Playhouse) and "Dracula Spectacula". As well as appearing as an actor, he was also the MD for "One Language: Many Voices" (TNT Theatre, Germany tour 2008 and 2010). His work as a composer includes writing the incidental music for "The Comedy of Errors" (Heartbreak Productions) and the score for the musical "Trekkin" (Questors Theatre). Other shows he has produced include "Funny Boy" (Compass Theatre, Ickenham) and PM Gala Performance (Bloomsbury Theatre).
He has been an orchestral conductor (Nottingham Philharmonia) and a secondary school Director of Music in London as well as a singing coach at Pattison Performing Arts College.
Michael has worked extensively as a corporate roleplayer (Roleplay UK, Roleplay Associates, Icendris, Actors Mean Business, Direct Personal Management, Context and ImpAct) and to any company he brings his hard work, ability to work as part of a team, enthusiasm and sense of fun.
